....Speaking of Presidents...as we were with the late Doc Leavell...how about a repeat of the call to San Clemente to chat with former President Richard Nixon!
It took him a few seconds but he finally responded (I think he’d been taking a nap and I woke him) and we had a delightful conversation.
This was then fed all around the world including to Radio Japan and Radio Moscow plus hundreds of other outlets.

Mr. Nixon’s close friend Bebe Rebozo a banker on Key Biscayne called me at the station the next day and asked if he could get a copy. I’m sure that made it’s way to San Clemente! And...might be in the Nixon Library!
